Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Odette, an AI telephone answering service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Odette is a product of I Enterprise Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 13225768, VAT No. GB372459574), registered office Suite 2.06b, C4di @Thedock, 31-38 Queen Street, Hull, East Riding Of Yorkshire, England, HU1 1UU. I Enterprise Ltd also trades as AgenticEcom.
2. The service
Odette answers inbound telephone calls on your behalf using conversational AI, drawing on a knowledge base you provide (for example, your website or store data). Odette can answer questions, take messages, request callbacks and — where you enable it — transfer calls. Odette is an AI assistant and identifies itself as such to callers.
3. Your account
You must be 18+ and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One account may serve one or more business locations (“tenants”) that you control.
4. Plans, billing & trials
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Free trials do not require a payment card. If you have not chosen a paid plan when the trial ends, the service simply stops answering — nothing is charged unless you add a payment method and pick a plan.
- Plans are flat licences. There are no included minutes and no overage charges from us — call and voice usage is billed to you directly by your providers (Twilio and ElevenLabs) at their published rates.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Prices exclude VAT unless stated. VAT is applied where required.
5. Third-party accounts (bring-your-own)
The service requires you to connect your own third-party accounts (ElevenLabs and Twilio). You are responsible for those accounts, their fees, and compliance with their terms. We are not liable for charges you incur with, or the availability of, third-party providers.
6. Acceptable use & call recording
You must use Odette lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Importantly, you are responsible for informing callers that calls are handled by AI and transcribed where the law requires (Odette does not retain call audio — it transcribes), and for obtaining any necessary consent under applicable laws (e.g. UK PECR/GDPR, US state call-recording and TCPA rules). You must not use Odette for emergency, safety-critical, or regulated advice lines.
7. AI limitations
Odette is automated and may occasionally be inaccurate or misunderstand a caller. It is not a substitute for professional (legal, medical, financial) advice. You are responsible for the knowledge base you provide and for reviewing messages and callbacks.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Odette software, brand and content. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service during your subscription. You retain ownership of your business content and data.
9. Your data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and, for data you process through Odette about your callers, our Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.
10. Warranties & liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse. You may cancel anytime. On termination we will delete or return your data in line with the Privacy Policy and DPA.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may benefit from mandatory protections of their country of residence. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
